We confess that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with You, O God, and the Word was You. The Word was in the beginning with You. (John 1:1-2)

You are but one God, the Father from whom all things came and for whom I live; and there is but one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom I live. (1 Corinthians 8:6)

I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forever. For great is Your love toward me, and you have delivered my soul from the depths of the grave. (Psalm 86:12-13)

PETITION:

May I be strong and courageous and careful to obey Your Word; may I not turn from it to the right or to the left, that I may act wisely wherever I go. (Joshua 1:7)

You are the God who answered me in the day of my distress and have been with me wherever I have gone. (Genesis 35:3)

God Almighty, You are the shepherd, the Rock of Israel, who helps me and blesses me with blessings from heaven above. (Genesis 49:24-25)

PETITION:

O Lord, I pray, let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant and to the prayer of Your servants who delight in revering Your name. (Nehemiah 1:11)

Guard my soul and rescue me; let me not be ashamed, for I take refuge in You. May integrity and uprightness protect me, for I wait for You. (Psalm 25:20-21)

I will sing of Your mercies, Lord, forever; With my mouth I will make Your faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that Your lovingkindness will be built up forever, that You will establish Your faithfulness in the heavens. And the heavens will praise Your wonders, O Lord, Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the Holy Ones. For who in the heavens can be compared with You? Who is like You among the children of the mighty? You are greatly feared in the council of the holy ones and more awesome than all who surround You. O Lord, God of hosts, who is like You, O mighty Lord? Your faithfulness also surrounds You. (Psalm 89: 1-2, 5-8)

PETITION:

May my conscience testify that I have conducted myself in the world in the holiness and sincerity that are from You, not in fleshly wisdom but in Your grace, especially in my relationship with others. (2 Corinthians 1:12)

May I not enter the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men. (Proverbs 4:14)

All who are righteous rejoice in You, O Lord, and give thanks at the remembrance of Your holy name. (Psalm 97:12)                      

How precious are your thoughts to me, Oh God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand.” (Psalm 139:17-18)

PETITION:

My body is a temple of Your Holy Spirit, who is in me and whom I have received from You, Lord God. I am not my own, for I was bought at a price; therefore may I glorify You in my body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Lord, may I not be ashamed to testify about You, but join with others in suffering for the gospel according to Your power. (2 Timothy 1:8)

I will arise and bless You, Lord my God; You are from everlasting to everlasting; blessing to Your glorious name, Which is exalted above all blessing and praise. (Nehemiah 9:5)

O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth below; You keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their heart. (1 Kings 8:23; 2 Chronicles 6:14)

PETITION:  

Let me hear Your unfailing love in the morning, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should walk, for to You I lift up my soul. (Psalm 143:8)

May I not be afraid of my adversaries, but remember You, the One who is great and awesome. (Nehemiah 4:14)

Lord Jesus, You are the door; whoever enters through You will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; You have come that we may have life and have it abundantly. (John 10:9-10)

Out of the north You come in golden splendor; with You is awesome majesty. You, the Almighty, are beyond our reach; You are exalted in power; and in Your justice and great righteousness, You do not oppress. (Job 37:22-23)

PETITION:  

May I follow Your commands and precepts and be careful to observe them, for this is my wisdom and understanding in the sight of others. (Deuteronomy 4:5-6)

In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness. Since You are my rock and fortress, for Your name’s sake lead me and guide me. Into Your hands I commit my spirit; redeem me, O Lord God of truth. (Psalm 31:1,3,5)

You, Father, love me because I have loved Jesus and have believed that He came forth from You. (John 16:27)

Lord Jesus, You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To anyone who is thirsty, You will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who overcome will inherit all this, and You will be their God and they will be Your children. (Revelation 21:6-7)

PETITION:  

I was once darkness, but now I am light in You, Lord. May I walk as a child of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), learning what is pleasing to You. (Ephesians 5:8-10)

Just as I received You as Lord, Christ Jesus, so let me walk in You, being rooted and built up in You, and established in the faith as I was taught, and abounding in thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:6-7)

You are the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy. You live in a high and Holy place but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit. You revive the spirit of the lowly and the hearts of the contrite. (Isaiah 57:15)

You formed my inward parts; You wove me together in my mother’s womb. I thank You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful and my soul knows it full well. (Psalm 139: 13-15)

PETITION:

May I be worthy of respect, not double-tongued, not addicted to wine, not fond of dishonest gain, but holding the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. (1 Timothy 3:8-9)

May I put away all these things: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive language from my mouth. (Colossians 3:8)

How great are You, O sovereign Lord! There is no one like You, and there is no God besides You, according to all that I have heard with my ears. (2 Samuel 7:22, 1 Chronicles 17:20)

You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, the heaven of heavens, and all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to all that is in them, and the host of heaven worships You. (Nehemiah 9:6)

PETITION:

Guard my soul and rescue me: let me not be ashamed, for I take refuge in You. May integrity and uprightness protect me, for I wait for You. (Psalm 25:20-21)

Lord, help me to be careful and watch myself closely, lest I forget the things my eyes have seen or let them depart from my heart as long as I live. May I teach them to my children and to their children after them. (Deuteronomy 4:9)

The heavens shout for joy! The earth rejoices! The mountains break out into singing! For You have comforted Your people and will have compassion on Your afflicted ones. (Isaiah 49:13)

I will greatly rejoice in You, O Lord; my soul will be joyful in You, my God. For You have clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. (Isaiah 61:10)

PETITION:

May I not say, “Today or tomorrow I will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business, and make a profit.” For I do not even know what my life will be tomorrow. I am a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, let me say, “If the Lord wills, I will live and do this or that.” Otherwise I boast in my arrogance, and all such boasting is evil. (James 3:13-16)

Lord Jesus, we rejoice that You fulfilled the words of the prophet Isaiah: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to s et free those who are downtrodden, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18-19)

PETITION:

May Your merciful kindness be my comfort, according to Your promise to Your servant. (Psalm 119:76)

May I not take revenge, but leave room for Your wrath, O God. For You have said, “Vengeance is mine: I will repay.” May I not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Deuteronomy 32:35; Romans 12:19,21)

A great multitude, which no one could number, from all nations and tribes and peoples and languages will stand before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and will cry out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to You, our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” (Revelation 7:9-10) 

Blessed are You, Jesus, the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest! (Luke 19:38) 

PETITION:  

Lord, may I learn the divine perspective Joseph learned when he said to his brothers, “Do not be grieved or angry with Yourselves for selling me here, for God sent me before you to save lives. He sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So it was not you who sent me here, but God.” (Genesis 45:5,7-8)

PETITION:                

O God, be gracious to us and bless us, and make Your face shine upon us, that your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations. (Psalms 67:1-2)

 May I be strong and courageous; may I not be afraid or discouraged, for You, Lord my God, will be with me wherever I go. (Joshua 1:9)

I enter into the worship and adoration John witnessed when he heard the voice of many angels encircling the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and their number was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: “Worthy are You, the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.” (Revelation 5:11-12)

You, Lord Jesus Christ, received glory and honor from God the Father when the voice came to You from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” (2 Peter 1:17)

PETITION:

Like Ezra, I want to set my heart to study Your Word, to obey it and to do it, and to teach it to others. (Ezra 7:10)

Give me understanding, and I will keep Your law and observe it with all my heart. Make me walk in the path of Your commands, for there I find delight. Incline my heart to Your testimonies and not to selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things, and revive me in Your way. (Psalm 119:34-37)

PETITION:

Since I died with You, Jesus, to the basic principles of this world, may I not submit to the world’s regulations as though I still belonged to it. (Colossians 2:20)

Rise up, O Lord! May Your enemies be scattered, and may those who hate You flee before You. (Numbers 10:35)

PETITION:  

Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; May Your good spirit lead me on level ground. (Psalm 143:10)

Hear, O Lord, my voice when I call; be merciful to me and answer me. My heart said of You, “Seek His face!” Your face, Lord, will I seek. (Psalm 27:7-8)

O Lord, You reign; You are clothed with majesty; You are robed in majesty and are armed with strength. Indeed, the world is firmly established; it cannot be moved. Your throne is established of old; You are form everlasting. Your testimonies stand firm. Holiness adorns Your house, O Lord, forever. (Psalm 93:1-2,5)

You are close to the brokenhearted, Lord, and save those who are crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but You deliver the righteous out of them all. (Psalm 34:18-19)

PETITION:  

May I not wear myself out to get rich; give me the understanding to cease. May I not set my desire on what flies away, for wealth surely sprouts wings and flies into the heavens like an eagle. (Proverbs 23:4-5)

I look to You for my daily bread, to forgive my debts as I have also forgiven my debtors. Do not lead me into temptation, but deliver me from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom an the power and the glory forever. (Matthew 6:11-13)

PETITION:                      

May I discipline myself to godliness. For physical exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for both the present life and the life to come. (1 Timothy 4:7-8)  

O Lord, be not far off; O my Strength, come quickly to help me. (Psalm 22:19)

PETITION:

May You, O Sovereign Lord, deal well with me for Your name’s sake; Because of the goodness of Your mercy, deliver me. (Psalm 109:21)

Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications! Answer me in Your faithfulness and righteousness. (Psalm 143:1)

PETITION:  

May I obey those who are in authority over me in all things, not with external service as one who pleases people, but with sincerity of heart, fearing You, Lord. Whatever I do, may I work at it with all my heart, as working for You and not for people, knowing that I will receive the reward of the inheritance from You. It is the Lord Christ I am serving. (Col. 3:22-24)

I will be still and know that You are God; You will be exalted among the nations; You will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46:10)

PETITION:  

We are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled. (1 Thessalonians 5:5-6)

In my distress may I seek Your favor, O Lord my God, and humble myself greatly before You, the God of my fathers, for I know that You are God. (2 Chronicles 33:12-13)
