Richard and Diana Rodriguez
I have attended Cornerstone Church
since the late 70’s, when I would come visit my parents,
being that I lived
in the Corpus Christi Area. My parents were salt covenant
partners, at Cornerstone Church but not really active or
involved in any of the other ministries. I returned to my
hometown in 1997 after experiencing my second heart attack
repaired by receiving a single by pass in 1995. The year
after the bypass Diana and I were married. At the time of
the surgery I was living a very worldly and wicked life.
I remember getting on my knees
Thanking God for allowing me to survive those two heart
attaches, even though I was far from walking in the manner I
was taught from a very young age. Besides thanking him I
submitted a request and that was that if he would just bless
me with a young lady that would want to serve him for
whatever days we had left here on earth. I had met Diana
before my surgery however I was living away at that time. It
was when I returned to recover from the surgery that Diana
and I crossed paths again. I also remember praying and
asking God that if Diana was the one that I had asked for
that for him to let me Know and I would like to know right
away. After praying and ending my devotion time with him I
picked up a letter that was on the table and it was
addressed to Diana Diosdado. After reading the address label
I took this as my answer from God, because her last name
translated in English is Dios=GOD dado=GIVEN.
We were married two weeks after
my answer and she has been a real blessing in my life.
Becoming cell leaders falls right
in line with my prayer request of both of us serving him for
whatever days we have left here on earth. We are so blessed
to be members of a church that is pastured by John and
Matthew Haggie. The ASHER tribe leaders Chuck and Annette
Ham are an outstanding example as to what leadership should
be like.
Don’t delay another day come and
be a part of the Asher’s tribe and Government of 12.
